Bread no. 1 : Stuffed Bagel Balls

Adjustments : None.

Notes : Cream cheese is inside every one of these, but different seasonings on the outside.  The back row is cinnamon, middle row is garlic powder, and the bottom is poppy seed.

Review : SO GOOD.  Seriously, my mind was racing with all the different variations you could do with this recipe.  I want to try it with pasta sauce, pepperoni and cheese inside like mini pizza balls!

A new year of K&M monthly posts!  Yay!  Here is what we've been up to this month...

Rang in the new year at a wedding.

She loved shopping for a new dress.

He is her forever date.

They went on their own little pub crawl, very close to home.

It's fun to have that one on one time together.

She has been listening to books on audio.

And loving it.

He has been watching the impeachment trial.

She's not interested.

He watches The Bachelor with her.

She loves how interested he seems.

They traveled to Indianapolis for Natalies volleyball tournament.

We registered Hadley for Kindergarten!

It's insane how fast time goes.

January is about over, and I feel like the year is flying by with how busy we are.

Maybe next month will slow down.

Over the long weekend, Hadley got her first fish!  A beta fish, she named Spikey.  We got one fish which should be easy enough.  And one small bowl, which is the perfect size for one little fish.  Hadley picked pink rocks for her boy fish.  It's fine right?

Guess where she came up with the name Spikey?  Apparently, in the movie Home Alone 3 the neighbor kid has a fish in their room named Spikey.  Whatever works!  Spikey the fish with pink rocks!  Rock it!
Spikey has made his home on Hadleys bedside, right next to her sound machine, water bottle, kleenex box, and monitor.  Welcome to our home Spikey.  Hope you live a long happy life!

P.S.  She sleeps like her Mama!

Hadley got her new shoes delivered and she hasn't taken them off.  After she put her jammies on one night, she put her shoes on too.  She loves her new gym shoes from Grandma & Grandad!
For the first time ever, I listened to an entire book in one day.  Girl Wash Your Face is fantastic, and I took away so many great things from it.  Rachel Hollis is awesome.  Next up, Girl Stop Apologizing!
Saturday before her weekend nap, we put together four different legos from this case she got for Christmas.  She did them all by herself, all I did was pick out the pieces she needed.
Saturday night we went to a concert with my parents and brother and sister-in-law.  We had a blast!
During intermission, we were asked to be interviewed about the venue and concert itself.  I was so nervous, but he asked easy questions thank goodness.
Sunday we registered this sweet girl for Kindergarten!  She was super shy, but she'll warm up as she takes it all in.  Still hard to believe we will have a kindergartner!

Was a great weekend, now let's get on with this week!

Have a good one.

I've always been a planner girl.  If I were to describe myself, organized always comes to mind.  I love to make lists.  I love to plan ahead.  When things aren't planned out, I usually have a tough time with it but through the years, I've learned to go with it.  It's impossible to have every single thing in life planned.

I have used a paper planner for years.  I can't even remember how long it's been, probably since high school?  I don't know, a long time though.  I cannot cross over to the electronic days of calendars and planning.  I will and always love a paper planner.
For 2020, I've decided to use the Happy Planner yet again.  This is my third year using this brand of a planner, and I absolutely love it!  What I love about it exactly is, the plastic rings that hold it together.  I'm the type of person that carries my planner with me just about every single day in my work bag so it's important that the rings that hold it together stay in tact.  I've had multiple planners that fall apart within months.  This one holds up the entire year long!
When you open the planner, this is the first page you see.  I hand wrote my name in the "belongs to" section.  I love the colorful vibe of this planner!

Before each monthly view, it has a notes section, a place to write birthdays, and anything else important to remember.  For 2020, my goal is to send my family birthday cards!  Some years I'm really good at it, and other years I'm not.  I'm hoping this year will be a good one!  I love sending cards!
Each monthly tab has a different color.
The monthly spread!  This is where I write down things that are due, etc., which I have blurred out since it's our personal things.  On the bottom left hand corner, I try to use a key for the family.  Each of us has our own color that I write things down in on the weekly spread.
The first page of every month has a bright and colorful saying, which I love!
Here is what the weekly spread looks like.  For years I write down everything, I always have my planner open and with me 80% of the time.  The stickers at the bottom of each day are H2O stickers, which has big circles to fill in each day to help me remember to drink massive water.
At the end of the planner is a big notes section with quite a few blank pages.  I'll use this to jot down anything that takes up more room than the weekly spread.  Last year, I used this section to write down things to put in the new planner for 2020.  Things like Disney On Ice, or the Harvest Home Parade, things like that to remember.
The back of the binder, love all the colors so bright and cheery!
Another thing I love about this planner, is the binder rings.  They are plastic and hold up all year long.  I use this thing daily, and shuffle it around in my work bag, and at home, so it gets tossed around for an entire year and it holds everything into place.
I started using these envelope inserts which are so awesome.  Another thing that is so great about this planner is you can insert anything you'd like any time of the year.  Taking things in and out of this is super easy, you can also make your own inserts.  Look at my Pinterest planner page to look at some of the pins about making your own inserts for the Happy Planner.

The first envelope is for "Bills" as you can see from the purple tab on top.  I keep anything bill related in this folder.

The second envelope is for "Blog" which is where I keep my content calendar, and blog ideas in.
The third envelope is for "Grocery" which is where I keep a grocery list, recipes, etc.
The tabs are from Staples and they just adhere right onto the envelope.  Super easy and easily removable if want to use them on a different insert, etc.
Along with the planner, I always carry this case to hold all of my pens and markers in.  I couldn't find the exact one I purchased, but this link Pencil Case is the exact same but different color.  The case is small enough to fit in my bag, and I can use the markers at any time of the day to update or change things in the planner.
The Happy Planners are my most favorite to use, three years in a row now!  They are super affordable, durable, and have so many designs to choose from.  Plus, the accessories are outrageous!  So many extra things you can get such as stickers, inserts, binder case, pencil case, there are so many it's hard to name them all.

If you get the Happy Planner, I hope you end up loving it as much as I do!  Planner girl for life!

It's finally Friday, but feels like a Monday!  How weird is that?  I love having days off for holidays, but when they happen to fall in the middle of the week it throws me off big time.  I'm ready to get back to a normal week next week.  Up for this weekend, want to make a bread recipe and finish putting things in my new planner!

Have a wonderful weekend.

We spent our New Year's at a wedding this year!  Had so much fun celebrating the Bride and Groom.
Hadley was having her own party with her grandparents!  I bought some party poppers, silly string, just fun NYE stuff and they had a ball!

Still can't believe it's the year 2020!  Hope you had a great New Year and ready to start this year off right!

(Side note : Check out the new photos at the top of the blog!)
