from the weekend.

Brady is on the freshman basketball team for his high school, and they have games on Friday nights.  His team won!  It's so crazy to think he's a freshman in high school, I still think of him as little ole Brady but he's not so little anymore.  He's as tall as I am now!
After Brady's game, we went to Natalie's school for her Christmas concert.  After years of having the concert last for hours, they have finally managed to get it down to 45 minutes and it's so good!  The entire school sings the whole time, and certain people have speaking parts, it's really good.
My Mom took Hadley and her cousin Kaiden to a Jingle Bell run for kids, it was the cutest thing.  They each had a race number with a bell on it, and since it was raining they ran inside.  After the race, they got to go around to all of the booths and get free goodies which was the best part for them!  One of them was this cute red shirt that says "Get Your Jingle On".
My husband had his first fire that he was able to participate in!  He was so excited and has been beaming all weekend.  He even managed to get a photo taken with is lieutenant.  He's been waiting for a fire like this, it was a big one!
Had brunch with a few of my girlfriends at one of my favorite places in OTR.  The place is called LouVino.  I love their croissant BLT sandwich, the maple mustard is to die for, and most of all the mimosas!  Delicious!
Finished decorating our home for Christmas this weekend.  I found these cute little mini lights for the stair railing!  Put the finishing touches on a few spots, and it's finally all done.
Did some meal prep for this week.  I feel so much better when I have breakfast and lunches already to go.  Plus, I tend to eat a lot healthier when I have food already made and ready to heat up.  For this week, I made egg muffins that have chopped up spinach and shredded cheese for breakfast.  For lunch, chicken and vegetables.
Kevin and the kids went to the lake for the day while I was at brunch, and Hadley did this gingerbread house with Grandma.  She did a great job, and makes for a cute centerpiece for our kitchen table.

Good weekend had by all.  Excited for this week, only have a few more presents to wrap and I'm all done.  Love that feeling of being totally done before Christmas Eve arrives!  We still have to squeeze in time to see the real Santa, maybe this weekend will be the right time.

Happy Monday, make it a great week!
