fall home tour 2019.

This is the first year I get to decorate for the fall season at our new house!  Some of the decorations I've had from over the years, and some are newer.  I don't have nearly as much as I'd like to have, but what we have will do for now.

First up is the front porch.  Right now all I have is a little pumpkin sign hanging from the front door.  It's still too hot to buy mums, so when it starts to cool down I'll have some colorful mums on the front porch.  I'll come back and update this post with all the porch decorations.  The "Happy Fall Ya'll" garden flag is one that I made myself a few years ago.  It's burlap sewed together, I painted the saying on with regular acrylic paint, and hot glued some fake fall leaves on the bottom corner.
When you step inside the front door, our half bathroom is down the hallway.  These are the shelves in the bathroom, I just stuck some festive pieces in with what was already on the shelves.  I think it gives it a nice little fall touch.
On top of the toilet, I have this farmers market tin basket.  I put an orange Halloween tin inside the big tin, along with the best bathroom spray ever.  If you haven't tried the "poop before you go spray", it's the best.  The kids love it too!  We are currently using the citrus scent, you can purchase it here.
The bar cart is looking a little empty, but for now I put the "Hello Fall" banner up on the wall, and the pumpkin basket on the cart itself.  I have plans to add more here, just haven't gotten to it all yet.
The kitchen table has a black/orange table cloth for Halloween, a Hello Fall pumpkin, and my favorite aqua mason jar.  I'll leave this table cloth on until Halloween, and then will use a Fall tablecloth until Christmas time.  The spider web place mats I believe were purchased from Target a few years back.  Need to add some Halloween napkins to go with the theme.
In our glass see through kitchen cabinet, I put a little pumpkin guy on the second shelf.  The glare is bad so I took one with the door open so you could see it more clearly.
The fireplace is always my favorite place to decorate.  I've been going the more simple route lately and I love the way it ends up.  Originally, I wanted to fill the mantle with different sized pumpkins but am going to save that for the Thanksgiving table decor.  The small frames with the Fall sayings are from Target's dollar spot, the pumpkins in the middle I've had for years, along with the felt leaf banner.  Inside the wicker basket on top of the crate, are 3 fake rats.  Ever since the kids were little, they love playing pranks on people with the fake rats.  We are down to only 3 rats, need to add some more to the collection haha.
And that wraps up the Fall Home tour this year.  I love how it all turned out.  Hope you enjoyed the photos!

Happy first day of Fall!
