around here Hadley has been riding her new big girl bike every single day! She loves it.
around here have some new flowers coming up in our backyard. They are bleeding hearts I believe, thanks to a friend for figuring that out.
around here Hadley wanted a photo on the flower wall at school.
around here we got some new outdoor goodies!
What a week it's been, seemed to forever long. My new boss started, it's been busy getting to know a new person. Had my second mammogram, it's always nerve racking to do that but glad I get it done once a year. We were supposed to go to a Reds game, but the rain prevented that idea. Hadley has her preschool prom tonight with her Daddy, she's so excited! We don't have much going on this weekend, let's hope the rain goes away it's been one rainy week! Need sunshine. Now!
What's in your bathroom cabinet? Here is what's in mine currently. The bottom shelf on the left is mine, the right is Kevin's as you can tell by the cologne and shaving cream. I love having our own space in the bathroom! Compared to our first house, it's so nice having our very own bathroom! So anyways, back to the bathroom stuff.
Here are the facial (mostly) products I use everyday! (listed left to right)
We started the weekend by going to the Omnimaxand seeing the Volcano showing. It was pretty good, however, this was Hadley's first time going and she was a tad scared. If you've ever been to the Omnimax, it can be a little overwhelming with the large round screen. She was okay after awhile. But the volcano show was pretty cool! You felt like you were in the middle of one!
Saturday morning, we colored Easter eggs! Miss Hadley was so excited she could barely stay seated in her chair! Each of the kids did 18 eggs each, Hadley had about 10 blue eggs since that is her favorite color, Natalie was very creative with her eggs, and Brady did some neat designs too.
Easter morning! Miss Hadley was a little sickies, with a mild temperature. You know a kid is sick when she doesn't want to look for her Easter basket. Brady was super fast finding his, in the fireplace. Natalie's basket was the hardest, inside one of the cabinets that she never goes in.
Brady and Natalie had so much fun! They are one of the big kids now!
Hadley wasn't feeling the greatest Easter morning, but by the afternoon she felt much better! Brady hid some eggs for her to find, and she loved every second of it! They are growing up so fast! This was a weird Easter with Kevin working, but I'm sure there will be lots more holidays where he'll have to work. The kids had a blast and that's all that matters!
around here George laying in the hallway while Hadley takes a shower.
around here these two have been playing so much together.
around here Hadley had a day date at the zoo with Daddy!
around here obsessed with our yard, it's fantastic! Can't wait to remove some of the old stuff and put in new pretty stuff!
It's Good Friday! Yay! Excited for this weekend, the Easter bunny makes a visit, and the big kids come back. Hadley gets so excited when they are home! It'll be nice to hangout, chill, do whatever. Maybe play outside, hunt for some Easter eggs, and just be together.
Here is our mantle decorated for Easter! It's nothing fancy, but I'm liking the simple look of it.
Here is the full image of our fireplace. I stuck a wooden Easter bunny in the crate, with some Easter eggs overflowing out of the basket.
On the end table next to the couch, a tin can with an Easter bunny head. Had that thing for years, I can't remember where I got that. And then our favorite diffusers on the end table also.
Grass Easter bunny hanging on the backside of our front door.
Easter lilly pot from Krogers.
The shelves in our bathroom, I put a little wooden Easter bunny in the middle. It's from my Grandpa Vince, he used to make all kinds of things with wood.
Easter bath towels in the downstairs bathroom.
Peeps soap I found at Kroger of all places, and Easter bunny napkins.
And some flowers from my cousin Lauren!
Nothing too fancy, it's nice to have the space to decorate now. I need to do an entire house tour, but not until we have everything the way we want it. We still have some painting we want to do, and more decorating, which will all come in time. This was a little peek at our Easter decor, and this will be our first Easter in our new home! Yay! Can't wait to hide the kids' baskets!
