around here.

around here we did Cindy Lou Who for Christmas spirit week.  Daddy tried his best to do it in the morning, but no luck.  Thankful for her teacher Miss Becca for coming through!
around here had her last swim lesson for 2018!  She did fantastic, jumping in and going under.
around here put our tree up finally!  Not a huge fan of those curtains, but things will change in time.
around here helping Daddy put up the train.  It's a favorite with the kiddos!
around here made lots of Christmas cookies!  Miss Hadley helped for a few of them.
around here cookies for Hadley's teachers.
around here displayed all of our Christmas cards from the kitchen light fixture.  Couldn't think of a good place so this will do for now.  And as we sit there and eat, we can look at them all!
around here this is my favorite photo right now.  While I was out grilling steaks, I snapped this real quick.  It's not the best quality I know, but I love the feel it gives off!

around here the letter my parents put in their cards this year.  Oh my gosh, I don't know if it's just this time of year, or how emotional I've been with life, moving, just everything lately has been crazy, I cried when I read this!  It was the sweetest thing and I will savor this one forever.

Happy Friday folks!  I'm so ready for this week to be over.  Things have been crazy, emotional, and festive this week.  Having the house a wreck and not organized is driving me crazy, I know it'll settle down soon just not the most prime time to move right before Christmas.  So many things to do and people to take care of, I'm having a hard time this week.  I am thankful for my parents and a few friends who have been so supportive and encouraging these last two weeks or so.  It's been a whirlwind, and I know theirs light at the end of the tunnel!  Looking forward to the kids opening up their gifts, being together, and enjoying this Christmas through their eyes.

I'm so grateful for those of you that read this blog!  I love hearing feedback from posts, and I love having this little space on the Internet, a forever journal of our lives.

Merry Christmas everyone!  Enjoy these next few days with family, friends, and loved ones.
