Today I will be sharing my Wednesday photos and words for the Week in the Life project. All photos were taken with my iPhone.
Here is a look into my Wednesday photos and words...
Shower this morning, next to Hadley's Minnie Mouse potty that she uses as a stool for the big potty. haha
Only took one photo getting ready and leaving the house this morning, had other things on my mind I guess. But this view, is my fave of the sunrise.
Every single morning, doesn't matter what time it is I never ever make this light!
Mid-morning snap chat filter selfie. Why? Because it gets rid of all the blemishes and makes my eyes pop! Plus, I didn't take many photos this morning either. So why not a selfie at the desk.
This little corner of my office brings in the best sunshine. Some people keep their blinds closed all the time, mine are always open. Let the sunshine in!
The walk to meet a friend for lunch, it's just glorious outside!
Went to First Watch, got the fruit crepes. Love this place. Met a friend that really needed some cheering up! The sunshine can cheer anyone up!
Afternoon chocolate, with a great saying on the inside. So true in every instance.
Time to go home yay! My work is corner to the court house. I love the architecture on the buildings downtown.
My Dad was at our house waiting on a fix it guy to come look at our dishwasher, so I picked up Hadley first today so she could hang out with her Grandad while I walked/ran. The dishwasher guy never showed, which is just crazy to me. How do places stay in business doing that? Anyway, Hadley ran to the porch to give her Grandad a big hug. I went on a run for almost 2 miles, while my Dad watched Hadley. We started dinner, tonight we had skinny skillet lasagna. Oh my gosh was it good. For the recipe: click here. We omitted the onions and peppers, but still delicious. My husband even said, "I'm impressed babe." I've had a different meal on the table every night so far! I'm beginning to love cooking now!!! (My husband usually does dinners, read more about that here).
Everyday after she gets home from school, she feels the need to change her clothes completely. Maybe it makes her feel refreshed from her dirty school clothes? I don't know, but it's a crack up how she does it as soon as she gets home. As I look at this photo, I realize we need to go around the baseboards and get the dry wall mud off!
After dinner, Kev goes downstairs to study. He has quizzes everyday. Hadley hops in the shower, she is 3 and a half years old and loves to take showers. They might take a little longer than I'd like, but she does everything by herself. She only needs help rinsing the shampoo/conditioner out of her hair. I stuck my phone at the top of the shower curtain to get this photo.
Hadley takes hot showers, like hotter than I do! The bathroom gets so hot, I usually have to open the door a few times to cool off but she loves it.
Hadley went to bed at 8:00pm tonight. Went to the kitchen to start on the dishes. I'm really hoping the dishwasher guy can show up tomorrow, it's not fun doing dishes by hand.
Made lunches after dishes were done.
We ordered new light fixtures for our bar area, I managed to figure out how to put them in all by myself! They look awesome. Only thing I think it needs are different bulbs, these are super bright which is sweet but I think it needs to a little less bright. You could use these without any other lights they are that bright. You can see what the old brown lights looked like above to the right.
Kev downstairs studying at the desk!
It's hard to take a selfie while laying in bed, but here it is. Watching my favorite Gilmore Girls on Netflix, I think I was asleep in about 30 seconds. Bed time for me tonight was 9:30pm. I don't even remember Kev coming to bed.
